Will of Ambrose CAMP, dated 11 March 1769.
Ambrose CAMP of St Mark's Parish in the County of Culpeper.
To my son Thomas CAMP the upper part of my land whereon I now live to be
laid off as follows (to wit) beginning at a pine near my fence agst. Matthias
RINEHART's house and runing from thence a straight course to my back line so
as to include one hundred acres but as the peach and cherry orchards will be
on that part of the land he nor his heirs shall not in any wise molest his
mother from making use of any quantity of fruit that she shall be in need of.
To my son Thomas CAMP two Negroes Philip and Sall.
To my loving wife Ann CAMP all the remainder of my Negroes during her
natural life and after her decease to be equally divided between my six
youngest children William CAMP, John CAMP, Henry CAMP, James CAMP, Marshall
CAMP and Betsey CAMP.
My executors hereafter named will sell two hundred acres of the land
whereon I live to be laid off as followeth beginning in my back line and
runing thence to MORRISS line to include my lower plantation, and my said
executors will sell the land purchased of George WETHERALL.
To my loving wife, Ann CAMP all the remainder of my lands during her
natural life and after her decease to be sold and the money arising from such
sale to be eequally divided among my money arising from such sale to be
equally divided among my six youngest children (to wit) WILLIAM CAMP, JOHN
CAMP, HENRY CAMP, JAMES CAMP, MARSHALL CAMP, AND BETSEY CAMP.
I do appoint my loving friends Samuel CLAYTON, Richard POLLARD and
William WILLIAMS executors. A

10 March 1769. Exhibited to the Court by Samuel CLAYTON, Richard POLLARD
and William WILLIAMS. Edward WATKINS, Sarah WATKINS and Frances STROTHER the
subscribing witnesses made oath that the said Ambrose CAMP did sign, seal,
publish and declare the same to be his last will and testament.

personal estate of Ambrose CAMP, dec.
