This Cemetery is located on the north side of 2nd Concession rd. West of Orkney in Beverly Twn. Wentworth Co. Ontario Canada. It is on private property along a fence line between two fields. If you find this cemetery you will need to go to the farm on the east side or to your right side as you face the cemetery from the road to get access to the property. I was told “They don’t let everyone in” but when I told him I was a genealogist and I thought I may have some relatives buried their he let us walk in from the road. The owner told me that this was the fence line that septerated the two old homesteads. He also told us that when he bought the land the cemetery was grown over and plowed into. He They cleaned it up and re-set the head stones in concrete as best they could.
Directions, Some of the stones are very bad shape. An underline means the we could not be sure or could not read the letter or letters. “ “ marks indicate a description or comment about the stones or grave. Most of these are standard tombstone shape laid down and anchored in concrete.
