    Edward Earl CAMP ,Jr. - Native of Arkansas
    Edward Earl Camp Jr., 70, of Davidson, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at his residence. He was born July 25, 1933, in Conway, AR, son of the late Edward E. Camp Sr. and Bennie Hankins Camp.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Camp.
    Survivors are his daughter Pamela C. Hay and husband Dick; grandchildren Sarah Hay and Benjamin Hay of Davidson; and sister Patsy Farris of Hot Springs, AR.
    Funeral services were conducted in Conway, Ark., on Sunday, April 25. Raymer Funeral Home, Huntersville, served the family.

    This is my grandfather's obituary. I'm try to find information about his family. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    Death Takes James CAMP James Arthur CAMP, 70, who had been here visiting with his children in Visalia and Hanford [California], died last evening in Hanford. He had been in poor health for a number of years. Mr. CAMP was born in Bruno, AR, and attended schools there. He was married to the former Julia OSBURN on March 5, 1912, in Tomahawk, AR, where they made their home until 1921 when they moved to Osage, OK, where Mr. CAMP worked in the oil fields. In 1942, Mr. CAMP moved to Stockton [California] where he made his home with his late mother and his brother, Clyde. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stockton.
    Survivors include three sons, Virgil CAMP of Hayward, Vernon CAMP of Hanford, and Douglas CAMP of Borger, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred BUNTIN and Mrs. Virginia SING, both of Visalia; two brothers, Floyd CAMP of Stockton and David CAMP of St. Joe, AR; three half-brothers, Rel CAMP of Yellville, AR, Clyde OSBURN of Stockton, and Bill OSBURN of Keeler; two sisters, Mrs. Tina DUGGER of Northern California and Mrs. Arvinia LINN of Sacramento; one half-sister, Mrs. Lois MC KINNEY of Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by the Hadley Funeral Chapel of Visalia.

    CLEVELAND COUNTY, AR OBIT

    Oscar Luther Cope, 81, of Woodlawn (Cleveland County), died September 2, 1997, at Cleveland County Nursing Home at Rison.
    He was born at Woodlawn on January 17, 1916, a son of the late Luther O. Cope and Ulia Marie CAMP Cope. He was a member of Civilian Conservation Corps in 1939, a truck driver and a former employee of the Pine Bluff Arsenal. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, near Woodlawn, and went to Woodlawn schools.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers, Quinton "Pete" Cope, Edward J. Cope and John Alfred Cope; and a sister, Elvira Cope.
    Survivors include two brothers, Clint Cope of Pine Bluff and Billy Cope of Woodlawn; four sisters, Allie Snowden, and Marguerite Terry, both of Woodlawn, and Dena Mae Phillips and Erma Wolfe, both of Pine Bluff.
    Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday in Friendship Cemetery near Woodlawn with the Rev. Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial will be handled by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.

    James Benjamin Camp - Jonesboro Sun, The (Aug/12/2004)
    PARAGOULD -- James Benjamin Camp, 85, of Paragould died Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
    He was born in Greene County, where he lived most of his life. A retired conductor for the Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific railroads, he had lived in West Helena for 20 years. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Paragould.
    Survivors include his wife, Marcella June Camp of Paragould; two sons, Danny Camp of Paragould and Kevin Camp of Cabot; two daughters, Brenda Fowler and Judy Owen, both of Paragould; one sister, Imogene Otto of Paragould; 14 grandchildren, Jamie Fowler of Dallas; Dr. J. Perry Fowler of Auburn, AL; Lydia Stevenson of Olzen, Poland; the Rev. Timothy Fowler of O'Fallon, MO, Bradley Owen of Jonesboro, Mack Owen and Jason Owen, both of Paragould, A. Jay Camp of Austin, TX; Christie Covey of Hot Springs, Dr. Lara Vaughn of Athens, GA; Dusty Camp and Jeremy Camp, both of West Helena; and Nicholas Camp and Kyle Camp, both of Cabot; and 13 great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Lynn Camp; his parents, Joe Bob and Nettie Pearl Roseberry Camp; three brothers; one sister; and one great-grandson.
    Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Mitchell Funeral Home chapel in Paragould, with the Rev. Jim Fowler, Dr. J. Perry Fowler and the Rev. Timothy Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
    Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, and railroad co-workers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
    Visitation will be from 6-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

    Helen Lorene CRABTREE, 73, of Paragold died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. She was born June 23, 1924, in Arkansas County. She retired from Frolic Footwear and was a member of Bethel Station Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Lester Crabtree of Jonesboro; two daughters Edna Lowe and Faye Miller, both of Paragould; two sisters , Allie Camp of Paragould and Susie Stewart of Roseburg , Ore.; and two grandchildren, Melissa Perry and Zachary Lowe, both of Paragould. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wood's Chapel Cemetry with Larry Ring officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould. Pallbearers will be Kenny Lowe, Brad Lowe, Stacy Perry, Alton Keeling, Albert Jarvis and Leroy Johnston.

    Leroy Noble Guenther, 73, of Pine Bluff, died January 23, 1998, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
    Born October 29, 1924, in DeValls Bluff (Prairie County), he was a son of the late Benjamin Oscar and Bonnie Ollis Guenther.
    He was reared and received his early education in DeValls Bluff. He moved to Pine Bluff in 1957. He married the former Evelyn Blasengame on July 25, 1964, in Pine Bluff. He was a member of First Assembly of God.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Guenther; two brothers, Frank and Oscar Guenther and a grandson, Robert Phillips.
    Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Guenther; a daughter, Lisa Camp of Pine Bluff; two stepdaughters, Linda Henderson of Mount Ida and Eloise Waters Aldredge of Wabbaseka; three brothers, James Guenther of Sherrill; Dale Guenther and Troy Guenther, both of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Gladys Madar of Gould, Dorothy Orton of Hazen and Juanita Sinks of Pine Bluff; two grandsons and four great-grandsons.
    Funeral services are scheduled for l:30 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with the Rev. Wyatt Pickens officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

    Sandra Marlene Schultheiss Camp, 63, of Pine Bluff, died December 11, 1997, at her home.
    Born July 4, 1934, at Charlotte, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Maxine Reddick Schultheiss. She was a homemaker.
    Survivors include her husband, Dewell Camp, who she married on February 13,1962; a daughter, Sherrie Nordin of Sheridan; and four grandchildren.
    Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Rob Walker officiating. Funeral arrangements by Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall. Memorials to the American Cancer Society.

    September 16, 1926 MRS. CLARENCE GREENLESS, age 32, died at her home east of Rison on Thursday morning after an illness of several weeks. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Ouida, and a son Hoyle.
    Funeral services were conducted at 11 o'clock Friday morning at Wesley's Chapel. Burial was made in the cemetery at that place.
    Mrs. Greenlees, who was before her marriage Miss Oaklee CAMP was well known in Rison having attended high school here several years ago.

    WHITE HALL -- Eva Elsie Camp Henry, 91, of White Hall, died Friday at her home. She was born Jan. 27, 1914, at Thornburg, a daughter of the late Oscar F. Camp and Seeny Young Camp.
    She was reared and received her early education in Seminole, Okla. She worked as a telephone operator for the Pine Bluff Arsenal for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at White Hall, American Legion Auxillary, D.A.V. and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
    She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Henry, whom she married in 1956 at Greenville, Miss.; her brother, A.A. Camp; and three sisters, Irene Hatfield, Augustine Shaw and Edna Young.
    Survivors include her brother, W.O. Camp of Prattsville; and two stepgrandsons, Joey Richmond and Scotty Richmond, both of White Hall.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church at White Hall with Bob Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.     Mr. Phil R. Camp, Sr., 55, of Hope, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at Wadley Regional Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born September 18, 1944 in Hope, AR to Bryan and Dorthia Burns Camp.
    He was a Master Electrician with Tim Jordan Company of East Camden, AR for 15 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hope, AR. He was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Camp.
    He is survived by his wife, Faye Camp of the home; one son, Phillip Camp, Jr. of Port Arthur, TX; five daughters, Donna Ingersoll of Pine Bluff, AR, Janet Choate and Mary Anne Ward, both of Blevins, AR, Gina Staggs of Waldron, AR and Tina Meagley of Van-Alma, AR; his mother, Dorthia Camp of Hope, AR; two brothers, Wayne Camp and Dennis Camp, both of Hope, AR and Cathy Simmons of Brownwood, TX; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope, AR with Rev. Paul Choate and Rev. Ralph Hale officiating. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery at Patmos, AR. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, AR.


    James B. Wilson, aged 74 years, died at his home near Randall Friday morning after an illness of several months.
    Funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday afternoon and the remains buried at Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
    Mr. Wilson was born at Logansport, Indiana, where he lived until he reached the age of 12 at which time he moved to Missouri with his parents, moving to Arkansas soon afterward. He lived at Rison a number of years ago, operating a blacksmith shop. For many years however, he has lived near Randall where he operated a shop.
    He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church having served as superintendent of the Sunday school there, continuously for the past 26 years. He was also a member of the board of deacons of the church.
    Surviving him are his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Ona Betty of cornerstone, Mrs. Lillie Camp of Sherrill and Mrs. Ethel Wardlaw of English; two brothers, S.H. Wilson, Faith, and A.E. Wilson of Star City; three sisters, Mrs. Kate Cooney of Altheimer, Mrs. Anna Trussell of Palestine, Texas and Mrs. Florence Humbert of Woodlawn, Missouri.
