HAYES, SARA CAMP
Funeral service was held Friday, May 18, 2001, at Village Chapel East Funeral Home for Sara Camp Hayes, age 84, of Hokes Bluff, who died May 16, 2001. The Revs. Douglas Welch, Gary Hare, Mickey Mueller and Faye Bryant officiated. Burial was at Crestwood Cemetery. Village Chapel East Funeral Home Glencoe was in charge.
Mrs. Hayes was a native of Talladega County and a resident of Alford Bend Community most of her life. She was a member of Bachelors Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Hayes was an active member of the Hokes Bluff Senior Citizen Group. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest L. Hayes, and four children, Camelia, Jerry Wayne, Stanley Carl and Dale Hayes.
She is survived by sons, Donald (Irene) Hayes, Alan (Betty) Hayes, Ernie (Kathleen) Hayes, Robert (Diane) Hayes, Sheriff James (Diane) Hayes, Sammy Hayes, David (Valerie) Hayes and John (Donna) Hayes; daughters, Janis (John) Bussey, Mary (Gerald) Green, Deborah (Ronald) Rochester and Lynn (Gary) Williams; 32 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ray, Keith, Mike, Robert Jr., Brian, Sammy Dale, Jacob Hayes and Tim Bussey.
Honorary pallbearers were The Hokes Bluff Senior Citizens, Third Floor Staff Riverview Hospital and the staff of Gadsden Health Care.

Mary Evelyn (Oliver) Camp, age 78, of 1100 Metcalf Street, Cottonwood, Ala. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2002. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood with the Rev. Michael Whitt and the Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cottonwood Cemetery with Kent-Thornton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 - 8 p.m. At all other times, the family will be at a sons residence, 1100 Metcalf Street, Cottonwood. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church building fund, Metcalf Street, Cottonwood, Ala. Mrs. Camp was a lifelong resident of Cottonwood. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she prepared the Lord's Supper on a regular basis. Mrs. Camp was preceded in death by her parents, General and Minnie Hughes Oliver; husband, John Paul Camp; and granddaughter, Michele Tindell. CAMP, Sr. John Harold, 89, a resident of Montgomery, AL died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Frazer United Methodist Church with Dr. John Ed Mathison and Rev. Sam Camp officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 ? 6:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years , Frances P. Camp; daughter, Dana Jo Condon (John); three sons, Sam T. Camp (Ella); John H. Camp, Jr.; & Eugene Carter Camp; all of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, James H. Camp, PhD., Christopher Robins Camp, Donna Estelle Lawrence, Dana Frances Lawrence, Suzanne Camp Brocato, Annette Thomas, Mike Bancroft, Paul Bancroft, Tyler Condon Traficanti, Catherine Hails Condon, & Elizabeth Broun Condon.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Frances Camp.
Mr. Camp was a native of Arab, AL and a 1939 graduate of Auburn University. He taught School at Isabella High School for five years before moving to Montgomery in 1944. He was co-owner and operator of the Montgomery Quick Freeze Plant for several years and then became a homebuilder until his retirement in 1978. He was a charter member of St. James United Methodist Church, and presently a longtime member of Frazer United Methodist Church, a Past President of the Montgomery Homebuilders Association and a member of the Montgomery Civitan Club, the Scottish Rite, the York Rite, the Alcazar Shrine Temple as well as a 33rd Degree Mason. He was an avid golfer and sportsman.

CAMP, Mary Frances, 58, daughter of John Harold and Frances Camp of Montgomery, Alabama, died early Saturday morning, January 10, 2004.
Her parents are members of Frazer United Methodist Church. All were founding members of Saint James Methodist Church. Mary Frances lived most of her adult life in Tuscaloosa.
She is survived by her parents, John and Frances Camp; sister, Dana Jo; brothers, Sam, John and Gene and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel in Montgomery, Alabama on Sunday, January 11, 2004 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Leak-Memory Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

MUNFORD ? Funeral service for Joseph Michael "Mike" Camp, 47, will be Sunday, Jan. 16, at 3 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Talladega with Cliff Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Camp died Jan. 14 at Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Munford, was a Baptist by faith and was a self-employed painter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Camp Stephens.
He is survived by daughters, Debra M. Smith and husband Craig of Munford and Brittni Camp of Munford; sons, Joey Camp and Brent Camp of Munford; his father, Guy Stephens of Munford; sister, JoAnn Thompson of Munford; and two grandchildren, Makayla Camp and Jacob Camp of Munford.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JOHN DEXTER CAMP, R.Ph. -- FAYETTEVILLE ? Graveside service for John Dexter Camp, R.Ph., 69, will be Wednesday, June 16, at 10 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Pugh officiating.
Mr. Camp died June 13 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Cora Camp; brother, Dr. Charles Camp; and sisters, Vivian King and Frances Camp. He was a native of Coosa County and graduated from Sylacauga High School. He served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956. He was a member of First Baptist Church and graduated from Howard College (now Samford University) with a degree in Pharmacy. After graduation, he was the owner of Doctors Center Apothecary in Birmingham as well as owner of Sylacauga Apothecary. He was in the Alabama Pharmaceutical Association and Jefferson County Pharmaceutical Association. He was an active member of Coosa Valley Scottish Rite Lodge No. 929 in Sylacauga and served as president for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Helen L. Camp of Fayetteville; daughters, Robin Justice of Sylacauga, Wren Greene of Birmingham and Jaye Bobbitt of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; brothers, Joe Camp of Alexander City and Wilkie Camp, R.Ph. of Birmingham; and sisters, Marion Embry, R.N. of Stewartville, Isabel Waites, R.N. of Birmingham and Josephine Davis, R.N. of Montgomery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Camp died Dec. 18 at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home. He was preceded in death by brothers, Dr. Charles L. Camp and John Camp; and sister, Vivian King. He served in the U.S. Army with combat duties in World War II and the Korean Conflict and Vietnam with 30 years as a command sergeant major.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas E. Camp; father, Emery R. Duncan; Mother, Jewell E. Duncan (Farris); daughter, Tommie Lynn Camp; sister, June White; brother, Roland Duncan; and grandsons, Terry Bailey and Jerry Bailey.
She is survived by her son, Donald E. Camp; daughters, Diane Bailey, Wanda Gail Cook, and Barbara Baker; brothers, Arnold Duncan and Larry Conville; grandchildren, Michael Bailey, Donna Sanderson, Shane Bailey, Dawn-Marie Goodgame, Patricia Howell, Jason Boyd, Steven Baker, and Jonathan Baker; great-grandchildren, Kyrsten Bailey, Christian Bailey, Kayden Bailey, McKenzie Bailey, Tiffany Sanderson, Amber Sanderson, Amber Bailey, Joshua Boyd, Jason Goodgame, Marisa Winslett, and Ashley Goodgame.
She was loved and cherished by all who met her and our lives were better for hers. She will be greatly missed, but has now gone to be with her husband and life companion. Last Saturday at her home near Omaha the spirit of Mrs. T. J. CAMP [Martha
A. CAMP, 12 Sep 1857--11 Jan 1919] took its flight to the portals of glory.
She had been in declining health for many months, but endured her
afflictions with christian [sic] fortitude. The deceased was 61 years of
age and had been a devoted member of the Baptist church about fifty years.
She has ceased from her labors, but her works will follow her. A husband [T.
J. CAMP, 24 Jan 1847--5 Nov 1922], four children and 38 grand children are
left to mourn her death. Funeral services will be conducted at Big Springs
today at 11 o'clock by Rev. W. P. CUMBEE.

Mr. John Thomas Camp Jr., 79, of Cullman died Friday December 10, 1999.
Mr. Camp was born on June 30, 1920, to John Thomas Camp Sr. and Dicey
Camp, both deceased. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Camp is survived by wife, Melba Ruth (Dye) Camp of Cullman; two sons,
Cecil Earl Camp of New Orlesna, Mark Wesley Camp of Holly Pond; one
brother, Marvin E. Camp of Cullman; one sister, Katherine West of Alfreda
GA; five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A service will be held for Mr. Camp at Williams McCracken Chapel on
Sunday, December 12, 1999, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. John Edwards and Rev. Tommy
Graves will be officiating. Visitation will begin Saturday December 11 at
5-8 p.m. Mr. Camp will be buried at Hopewell Cemetery.
Beatrice "WonnieLene" MOON CAMP - Funeral services for Beatrice "WonnieLene" Moon Camp, 82, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2006, at Mt. Olive F.C.M. Church, Rev. Charles Dixon officiating, with interment in Simcoe Methodist. The body will lie in state for one hour. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Camp died Friday, March 17, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 5, 1924 in Franklin County to Robert Marion and Ella Beatrice Armstrong Moon. She was a hairdresser.
Survivors include two sons, Larry M. (Rita) Camp and Jackie M. (Connie) Camp; three daughters, Diane (James) Camp Makemson, Denice (George) Camp Banister and Bettina (Marty) Camp Green; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Camp was preceded in death by her husband, Cooper C. Camp; her daughter, Charlotte JoAnn Camp; and her graddaughter, Alecia "Beth" Green.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 18.
Mr. James B. Camp Sr., 86, of Phenix City, Ala., died Friday, July 11, 2003, at the St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.
Born December 2, 1916, Mr. Camp was a manager at an electrical supply house and was a staff Sargent in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, of the Ruth Mathews S.S. Class, of the VGW and of the American Legion Post #57.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Camp and Mary Camp; and his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Camp.
A funeral service will be held Monday, July 14, 2003, at 11:30 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, with Reverend Mike McKnight officiating. Interment will be at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille L. Camp; two daughters, Marilyn Anita and Paul Liddell of Kansas City, and Shirley Vrana and Tom Hunt of Houston; a son, James B. and Eloise Boren Camp Jr. of Newnan; step-sons, William and June Boren of Phenix City, Curtis and Marilyn Boren of Dallas, Ga., and Leslie and Jane Boren of Dothan, Ala.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will accept flowers but those desiring may make contributions to Epworth United Methodist Church, 3763 Highway 431 N. Phenix City, Ala. 36867.
